Fans about Hem, Will, Jenn their current storielines and what is right ot wrong about them

What do fans have to say about the current storyline?

FANS SPEAK OUT

A big majority doesn't seem to like Jennifer Munson new style, Will's pouting and whining  how little Hem is used and the small involvement of Hal in what's going on with Will .

life of the Munson's

It must take a troubled teen to take the blame for something he didn't do. Yet, William Munson did it yet again. After taking the blame for setting the Snyder barn ablaze, while knowing his stepmother's sister Alison Stewart was the one starting the fire, he now took responsibillity for his mother's artwork in his half brother's apartment...

reportedly William Munson is upset with his half brother Paul Ryan for his plans to move to France with his fiancee Rose D'Angelo. His mother convinced him that if William took the blame, Paul would not leave the country, since his little brother was in trouble.

One can only wonder what got into the teen to get along with a plan like that?!
It's said, William Munson is upset his mother is always blamed and no one is ever in her corner.... Maybe it would be advisable to sit the young man down and explain to him there is a reason for this.
Confronting and painfull as it may be, it seems William Munson will be better of, and better armed knowing the full truth about his mother.
So maybe next time she tries to pull him into a stunt like this, he will say "no".
If no action is taken, one can fear things will only get worse and many people could be hurt .
The restraining order, keeping Ms. barbara Ryan away from her son is a first step. But it seems the boy is detremined to protect his mother no matter what. Stern action is what's called for.
If William Munson can't protect himself from the damning influence his mother has on him, someone will have to do it for him...

Hem Times editorial--Untill next week!

  December 1, 2003

The distant voice for the first time. In this first edition, we will look at what's going on with the charachters this paper concentrates on on what fans have to say abut it, gathered from various messageboards and fan comments in the soap magazines:

Hal Munson:
People love Hal finally opening his eyes to see what barbara is really like and almost all like the fact he slapped her with a restraining order, although there are plenty who feel he should have done so a long time ago.
They also wish he had arrested barbara for violatinf the restraining order time after time, but to some degree understand he is reluctant to go this far.
In general fans feel like Hal is way too much underused in this storyline as Will's father and custodial parent.

Emily Munson:
Much, much underused lately by the opinion of the fast majority. Why not have Em work a bit more? She does run the Intruder and there is plenty of her to get involved in. yet the only thing they had her do was worry about Alison, display a reaction after learning Alison had slepped with Chris that was too much out of character giving her history--for example her talk and advise to Jennifer--and really didn't give Em much of her own story.
This does seem to change, the last couple of weeks and we can only hope this line will continue

Will Munson:
Much ranting and ravings about the distruction of the character of will. Where does his sudden absession for Paul come from and when did he get THIS protective of Barbara?
Fans quickly negin to dislike this Will; whining and pouting about his "poor mom" who's fault it never seems to be in his eyes and the fact will seems totally obliviant as to what Barbara did to his brother, sister, father, stepmother and Rose and Carly. Will suddenly turning against Hal and Emily isn't met with much enthusiasm from the fans either.
Hopefully they will take Will in a different direction soon, or this could be yet another character that's completely ruined for story line purposes.

Jennifer Munson:
Is the only reason they returned Jennifer to turn her into a mini babs? Is the what many fans seem to wonder about. Much discomfort with This jenn; her totall disregard of the special friendship she had with Emily before she left, the special bound she used to have with her father, very angry reactions to her remark about her father's "other family".
Jennifer walks around Oakdale like the only family she has is Her crazy mother and evenly so crazy brother Paul and barely spents any time with her father stepmother and little brothers.
Fans don't have a lot of affection with this Jenn.

HEM:
The overwhelmingly majority a fans feel this couple is deeply underused. Only put in as an 'extra' to other storielines and even that is done in a way to modest proportion. Hem needs a storyline of their own, Most prefebly a pregancy, most fans seems to be in favor of. Not a story that will break them up, but more of them while they're happy.
     ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Beginning next week, we will concentrate on the storielines that are currenly going on and the involvement of Hal, Emily, Will, Jenn and the others in them
